Tesla Supercharger Other Cars Australia: CCS, App and Open Sites
Updated 31 August 2026. Tesla’s Australian help page Supercharging other EVs is the operator primary for Tesla Supercharger other cars Australia: non-Tesla cars with CCS can use Superchargers that Tesla marks as open to other brands. You start and pay in the Tesla app. CHAdeMO is not part of that offer.

What is live now, not in 2022
Open access is site-by-site. Independent trackers such as EV Charging Networks Australia (updated through 2026) count a majority of Supercharger locations as open to other EVs, with hundreds of bays. Those counts move. Treat the Tesla app filter for Other EV as the live list, not a blog table.
You still need a CCS inlet. A first-generation Leaf on CHAdeMO cannot Supercharge. Tesla’s own rules put other brands on the CCS cable even when a stall has more than one connector.
Some sites offer tap-to-pay. Third-party write-ups say tap-to-pay can bill at non-member rates. Confirm on the cabinet and in the app. Optional Supercharging membership, when Tesla offers it in Australia, is also an in-app product. We are not republishing a rate card that Tesla can change overnight.
What to do on the next highway leg
Install the Tesla app, add a card, filter Superchargers for other EVs, and keep Chargefox or Evie as backup. Plug and etiquette still follow how to use a public EV charger. Connector basics: CCS vs Type 2. Cost habits: EV charging cost Australia. More network notes: news. Map stalls on locations.
Don’t assume every Tesla icon on a third-party map is open to you. The Tesla app is the gate.
What we are not republishing
Tesla can change which sites are open and how membership prices a kWh. A screenshot from April is not a rate card. Independent counts on EV Charging Networks Australia are useful for scale. They still lag a stall that went offline this morning. If you drive a Kia, Hyundai, BYD or other CCS car, the live filter is the job, not a table in this post.
Adapters that claim to turn CHAdeMO into Supercharging are not Tesla’s Australian offer. We will not name a product that Tesla’s help page does not. If your Leaf is CHAdeMO-only, this network is not your highway plan. Use Chargefox, Evie or another CCS/CHAdeMO mix you already know works.
